Enochian Magick isn't really
a completely different style, but there are those Ceremonial Magickians
who don't use the Enochian system. It is an extremely complex system,
but very potent. There have been some debates about its authenticity,
but as everything else in Magick, it doesn't really matter as long as it
works, which it does.
Enochian Magick is a system
which originates from the experiments of Dr. Dee and Mr. Kelley.
Dr. Dee wanted to perform a series of scryings, but since he had no natural
talent in that area, he hired a man, Kelley. Kelley was a known malcontent,
and was on the seedy sort, but he took the job as Dee's clairvoyant.
From their experiments, Dee contacted an angel who dictated the Calls to
them letter by letter. The Enochian alphabet was quickly transcribed,
and we now have the alphabet, the Calls, and the Tablets.
The alphabet is believed to
be the original Angelic language. This is supposedly the first language,
from which all others were derived. There are five Tablets, the Table
of Air, the Table of Fire, the Table of Water, the Table of Earth, and
the Table Of Union. The Table of Union is a 4x5 square with the Great
Names of the elements written on them. It looks like this:

EXARP (pronounced "Ex-Ar-pay")
is the Name for Fire. HCOMA ("Heh-coh-mah") is for Water. NANTA
("Nahn-tah") is for Earth (may be wrong about that, I don't have the Table
with me). BITOM ("bit-ohm") is for Air.
The other Tables are much
more complex, each having at least a hundred or so letters. When
you organize the letters in different patterns, you get different Names,
that can be evoked and used as in normal Ceremonial Magick.
